TEDx, x = independently organized event

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.

The University of Pittsburgh’s independently organized TED event, with this year’s theme, “(re)think,” hopes to parallel TED’s mission along with creating a platform for University students and community members to engage in meaningful discussions with the speakers and other audience members.

This is the 4th annual TEDxUniversityofPittsburgh event, which is completely student run, and we hope to expand on the successes in our past years in 2018. We will be curating talks around the notion of (re)think.

In an effort to be more sustainable, we have decided to publish the program electronically. Enjoy.
