Our 4th annual TEDx event was held at the William Pitt Union on Saturday, March 31st, 2018. We heard local speakers from different fields give their perspective on the a wide array of topics, and how Pittsburgh is the perfect place to “Rethink” what you know and think you know.
Our theme for this 2018’s conference was: “Rethink.” And we hoped to parallel the TED mission and create a platform for University students and community members to engage in meaningful discussions with the speakers and other audience members. By bringing together a wide variety of speakers from various fields of work, we hoped to give attendees the opportunity to expand their knowledge beyond the surface level, enriching their view of the community they live in.
